More than a dream, more than a notion

United World Colleges - UWC is the only international organization that educates students from all over the world, chosen carefully by their National Committees, according to their academic success and potential, regardless of the financial status. These students live and study together in one of the 13 colleges around the world, and follow the most prestigious preparatory program for further undergraduate studies, widely known as the International Baccalaureate (IB). 

Nowadays, approximately 70 nationalities are represented in the Colleges, indicating further the significance of the acceptance of new and different cultures. The approach to work and generally, the whole atmosphere makes it clear to all students that the academic part is just as important as the socialization. 

The Macedonian National Committee was renewed in 2010 according to the values ​​and principles of the UWC movement. Composed of former students and volunteers, the Committee of the Republic of Macedonia is dedicated to fair and transparent student selection process, as well as representation of UWC on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia.

UWC creates education that unites people, nations and cultures in order to achieve peace and sustainable future.
