The first UWC in the world (UWC Atlantic, in Wales) is opened 50 years ago. With regard to this occasion, the National Committee organizes several events this year.

There are two projects planned (one in the autumn and one in the spring) in collaboration with two UWC colleges, where students from the colleges will come to volunteer in Macedonia. We are open for cooperation with NGOs and high schools interested in these projects.

In addition, the one day activities that are part of the selection process will be held this winter. If funds for several day activities are provided, there are volunteer activities and group projects planned for the applicants, normally supported by members of the committee.

We plan to organize a regional training camp during the summer, where representatives from the other committees from South-Eastern Europe will participate and share experiences from their work. There will also be various activities that aim to promote the UWC movement, strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the committees and to improve the work of all the committees in the region.
